Temporary Job Opportunity – Visual Observers (Summer 2026)

BATCAM is looking to add experienced Visual Observers to our team for a major project taking place in Summer 2026. We are recruiting local personnel, as travel and accommodation will not be provided, so applicants must already be based in one of the following cities:

United States: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle

Canada: Toronto, Vancouver

Mexico: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey

The role involves actively monitoring the drone’s position and surrounding airspace, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring the remote pilot has accurate, timely information for safe and compliant operations. Applicants must be able to work in a dynamic broadcast environment, follow strict operational protocols, and maintain continuous communication throughout each flight. They may also have to co-ordinate flights to the relevant authorities.

A valid Part 107 certificate or country specific certification is essential for this position.
